Clinical Research at the Hurley Clinic

Hurley Clinic is proud to be a Research Ready Accredited Practice. We work collaboratively with the NIHR Clinical Research Network which is the Research arm of the NHS.

Clinical Research is very important to improve care, treatments and ultimately patients’ quality of life.

Hurley Clinic supports several different types of Primary Care studies which have been ethically approved. Our GP Research Lead is Dr Mark Ashworth and our Research Nurse is Catarina Guerreiro.

If you are a patient at the Hurley Clinic, you may receive invitation letters to ask if you wish to take part in a research study. Joining in a research study is completely voluntary.

However, if you do not wish to be contacted about research studies please complete the form attached below and hand it to the reception team or send it via post. If you are able to use a scanned signature, you can email it to the practice email address: lamccg.hurleyclinic@nhs.net (only signed forms will be accepted).
